Sung Min KIM holds a Bachelor’s in chemistry from Seoul National University and previously worked as a researcher in the pesticide department of a major company before his career as a patent attorney. At Hanol, he handles matters of complex patent prosecution and counseling in the fields of chemistry, the life sciences, semiconductors, and energy.
His primary focus is on helping clients protect and grow their businesses through strategic patent management. With a deep understanding of the technical aspects of organic and analytical chemistry, as well as experience in fast-moving fields such as energy, fuel cells, secondary batteries, and plant variety protection, Mr. Kim is well equipped to lead clients in the protection of a wide range of innovations.
Mr. Kim enjoys reading and spending time with his family, and he is also skilled in kendo, or Japanese swordsmanship.
